According to Dr. Phatak, here is a list of six drinks to have on an empty stomach for weight loss:

1. Apple cider vinegar

According to a study, published in the National Library Of Medicine, vinegar intake reduces body weight, body fat mass, and serum triglyceride levels in obese people. Most experts suggest that apple cider vinegar should be consumed on an empty stomach to lose weight effectively. Dr. Anjali said, "The quantity of apple cider vinegar matters a lot when it comes to weight loss. You can add 5ml-10ml ACV in 200ml water. Have it first thing in the morning to reduce belly fat." However, if you have gastric issues, consult a doctor before consuming acid on an empty stomach.

2. Methi seeds water

Fenugreek or methi seed-soaked water can contribute significantly towards weight loss. Saponins and fibre are present in rich amounts in fenugreek seeds and are responsible for most of its potential health benefits. To consume methi seeds water for weight loss, soak these seeds overnight and drink the drained water early in the morning on an empty stomach.
