But the way to improve your composition is to look for lines in everything you photograph. Horizons create strong lines, but so do rays of sunlight or clouds in the sky. People’s faces and bodies also have lines that can be used to your advantage. The key is to use lines to draw your viewer into your image and provide perspective and depth.
