Boil

Once the beets are prepared it’s time to boil them.

You’ll need a large saucepan that is big enough to fit all of your beets with at least 4 inches of space beneath them for the water. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add 1 teaspoon of salt for every 3-4 beets. Boil beets for 20-40 minutes, or until they pierce easily with a fork.
