4 Detox Foot Baths and How They Help Your Health

A Salt Detox Bath

Epsom salt is one of the best solutions for eliminating toxins. Placing one cup of Epsom salt, one cup of sea salt, and two cups of baking soda into boiling water allows them to dissolve completely. Once the mixture cools to a temperature you can withstand, it’s time to place the feet into it. Just a half-hour is all it takes for a full body detox, rise in magnesium levels, and eliminated skin irritations.

A Relaxing Detox Bath

For an even better relaxing feeling, people need to up the ante. A typical salt bath may prove beneficial, but adding some tea and oils would make it even more worthwhile. Stick with Epsom salt, but add lemon juice, mint tea, olive oil, and peppermint oil. Just 15 minutes spent soaking the feet in this concoction can help to reduce stress and relax the mind.

A Clay Detox Bath

Using clay in combination with Epsom salt is a great way to detoxify the body. It will also increase magnesium levels, which can help relieve anxiety, improve headache symptoms, and even improve the body’s ability to absorb calcium. Use just a half cup of Epsom salt and another half of bentonite clay. Let the salt dissolve in the foot bath as the clay dissolves in a separate container of water. An Oxygen Detox Bath

Known as the oxygen detox, this bath option skips the salt. Instead, hydrogen peroxide is utilized. Pair this with dried ginger powder and you have yourself a soak solution that eases skin irritations and allergies. Toxins get eliminated in just 30 minutes. Losing your uterus, ovaries and breasts, or your testicles and prostate, is also quite survivable, although you might need hormone therapy to avoid other long-term problems, such as brittle bones. If you allow yourself artificial replacements and medication, we can go further and remove your stomach, colon, pancreas, salivary glands, thyroid, bladder and your other kidney. Still not enough for you? Theoretically, surgeons could amputate all of your limbs, and remove your eyes, nose, ears, larynx, tongue, lower spine and rectum. Supported by machines in an intensive care unit, they could also take away your skull, heart and your remaining lung, at least for a short while. This adds up to a theoretically survivable loss of around 45 per cent of your total body mass. But any trauma that destroyed all these organs all at once would almost certainly kill you from shock and blood loss. And surgically removing them one at a time over many months would likely also be fatal, due to infections in your immune-compromised state.
