Both apple cider vinegar and lemon water can be of some benefit your gut, though neither is likely to perform miracles – so it really comes down to personal preference. However, if you’re just starting out, lemon water may be the way to go. It has a milder, fresher flavour; making it a good way to ease yourself into a healthy habit. Furthermore, please note that regular consumption of these acidic drinks may cause the enamel of your teeth to erode. So whichever you choose, always follow it with a glass of water to neutralise the acids in your mouth, and do not overdo either.
