Having said that, the beauty of intermittent fasting is that it makes eating in a calorie deficit easier, and therefore eating in a surplus harder. In order to put on muscle, you need to be eating in a surplus. If you know that you find it hard to eat in a surplus, intermittent fasting might not be a good option for you.
