Hi and thank you for your question. It sounds like your surgeon is being cautious and safe and ensuring that your healing goes as well as possible after surgery. Particularly because a tummy tuck is an elective surgery, I recommend ensuring that you are as healthy as possible for your procedure. It is possible that your hemoglobin could increase to your surgeon's required level in that short amount of time, however, you should be getting your level checked again closer to your surgery time. I would be prepared for the possibility of having to reschedule your surgery, however, hopefully it will increase. I would continue to take iron and vitamin b and ensuring a healthy, balanced diet.
