But Mark Fischbach, known to his 26 million+ YouTube subscribers as Markiplier, wanted to go bigger. Way bigger. In his latest video, the vlogger attempts to walk 100,000 steps in a single day. "I was woefully unprepared for the amount of work that would be required to accomplish it, and the insanity of what I was trying to do in the first place," he says. He started off the day at a decent rate, hitting his 10,000 mark by 9 a.m. On a regular day, he'd be done by now. But he kept moving, and soon found that he wasn't used to being on his feet so much. "I was always adding in steps wherever I could, no matter what I was doing, I was always moving," he says. "And this is where the psychological changes started to take place. I realized that my life was very static... for the most part, I live a pretty sedentary life. So I needed to change that."
